The short version
Audio files you choose are decoded, resampled, analysed and converted inside your browser. MIDIFLOW does not upload those files to us, create an account for you or store your MIDI output.
We do not currently run advertising, behavioural tracking or a first-party analytics service on this website.
Audio and MIDI processing
Your selected audio is held temporarily by your browser for playback and transcription. The Basic Pitch model runs on your device, and the generated MIDI file is created locally for you to download.
Closing or reloading the page ends the active conversion session. Because the audio is not sent to our servers, we cannot view it, restore it or recover a MIDI file you did not save.
Website requests and hosting
Like most websites, a visit sends ordinary request data such as an IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referring page and timestamps to the infrastructure that delivers the site. MIDIFLOW is hosted on Vercel, which may process and retain service and security logs under its own privacy notice.
We use this infrastructure to deliver the website, prevent abuse and keep it available. We do not combine hosting logs with profiles about your music or listening habits.
Cookies, local storage and fonts
MIDIFLOW does not currently set its own advertising, analytics or account cookies, and the converter does not require persistent browser storage.
The site requests typefaces from Google Fonts. That request goes directly from your browser to Google and can include ordinary connection data such as your IP address and browser details. Google handles that data under its own privacy terms.
Contact messages
If you email contact@audiomidi.org, your message and address are processed so we can receive and answer it. Mail sent to this address is forwarded by ImprovMX to our QQ Mail inbox. Those providers may process delivery metadata and retain records under their own policies.
We keep correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain necessary records, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. Do not email confidential audio or sensitive personal information unless it is necessary.
Your choices and rights
You can use the converter without creating an account or contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal data contained in correspondence or server records. Email contact@audiomidi.org to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
We may need enough information to verify and locate a request. Rights can be limited where retention is required for security, legal compliance or the rights of others.
Security, children and changes
We use a local-processing design to reduce exposure of audio files, but no website or network transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. MIDIFLOW is a general-purpose music utility and is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to online services in their location.
We may update this policy when the service or its providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions can be sent to contact@audiomidi.org.
